The enchanting vocal looping Julianna Barwick is taking it easy this Fall. However, the brilliant mind behind a catalog of ethereal and mellow material heralding choir-like Gregorian chant has decided to grace her audience with a few shows.
Spread across late August and September, Barwick has scheduled five shows which will tour New England.
The first show, to be held August 26 at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, NY will also feature Prince Rama, Sun Araw, Pterodactyl, and Teenage Fantasy DJ Set.
The vocalist will then play Raleigh, N.C.’s Hopscotch Festival along with the Boomslang Festival in Lexington, Ky. Her last two scheduled shows will be the most intimate, held at Messiah College and Wesleyan University.
