Fool’s Gold Announces Fall Tour Plans

The Los Angeles-based group Fool’s Gold has announced plans for fall tour in support of their upcoming album, Leave No Trace, out August 16 on the IAMSOUND label. The U.S. portion of the tour is set to begin in September, after three select shows in the month of August. The group then plans to tour the United Kingdom with the Red Hot Chili Peppers in November.

The five-piece ensemble is known for their fusion of western pop and African beats and melodies. The August 16 album will be the group’s first recording since their debut album, Fool’s Gold, was released in 2009.

The once-sizable collective now consists of 5 steady members, Luke Top (vocals/bass) and Lewis Pesacov (guitar), Garrett Ray (drums), Brad Caulkins (multi-intrumentalist), and Salvador Placencia (percussion). The quality of the group’s live shows have garnered them invitations to many major venues and festivals.

Leave No Trace is available for streaming on the band’s official site, and two songs, “Wild Window,” and “Street Clothes,” are available for free download.
