With their debut self-title album seven weeks old and running, the Portland trio Unknown Mortal Orchestra have released a music video for the single, “Little Blu House.” The three minute video features through-back cinematic elements to the ’60s rock videos which fits the atmosphere of the music as a hand to a glove.
Fronted by former Mint Chicks Ruban Nielson on guitar, UMO also has Jake Portrait on bass, and Julien Ehrich on drums. The avant-pop trio evoke similar sounds from rocks’ acid era of the ’60s and ’70s era molded with modern pop beats.
