Blame it on the weather, as the rain and wind destroyed the stage for a Flaming Lips show that would have gone on tonight in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Lead singer Wayne Coyne, who grew up in Oklahoma, reported that the fans were still “happy and freaky” and no injuries were sustained.
Coyne tweeted: “Show is cancelled!!!! Devastation!!!” and “FUCK!!!! Wind and rain destroyed the stage !!!!!” prior to that. Coyne also uploaded footage from the scene of the mishap. No word yet on when the show will be rescheduled.
