Four years after her debut album release, Feist has announced that her sophomore album, Metals, will be out Oct. 4. The 12 track album features Feist’s frequent collaborators Chilly Gonzales, Mocky, and producer Valgeir Sigurðsson.
Recorded in Toronto and Big Sur, Calif., the album will be released by Interscopes’ imprint label Cherrytree Records.
Feist has also revamped her website in anticipation of Metals release. Instead of issuing press release to hype the album, Feist has released teaser trailers for the album posted as her site’s main page but published via her YouTube account.
