Experimental musical collective Black Moth Super Rainbow has returned to the music scene with the announcement of their first U.S. tour since the band’s hiatus began two years ago.The two words “We’re Back” graced the homepage of BMSR’s recently revived website, hailing the return of the band which now boasts a brand new lineup consisting of Tobacco (fresh off his tour for his solo project Maniac Meat), Seven Fields of Aphelion, Ryan Graveface (aka Dreamend), and Iffernaut.
Following the flood of their distributor’s warehouse last summer which destroyed the majority of BMSR’s catalog, the band and Graveface Records have also decided to re-release an extended version of their album Dandelion Gum (now dubbed Dandelion Gum Extra Flavor Deluxe Reissue). The album can be purchased here.
Finally, BMSR’s track “Drippy Eye” has been covered by an all-star bass trio consisting of Mike Watt, Flea, and K. Listen to this cover as well as a new track from Tobacco here.
