Stephen Malkmus, eponymous member of Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks, said in recent interview that Beck has plans to start—of all things—a private printing press.
“Beck…said he was trying to start a private press of books and that I should get involved. He asked if I wanted to do something. But I don’t know what the status of that yet because, you know, I haven’t contributed to it yet,” said Malkmus in an interview with Spin.
Evidently, Beck plans to operate the press in the style of a 60s private press, producing a limited number of books of poetry, art and prose.
