While the world watches in awe Odd Future continue to to reach hip hop milestones in record time. Just under a year ago this hip hop collective from LA was virtually unknown. Today the members of OFWGKTA are getting ready to partake on a collaborative storm that involves hip hop’s heaviest hitters.
Two months ago Nas announced to Billboard.com that he was looking to collaborate with Odd Future R&B artist Frank Ocean and now more details have surfaced claiming that Odd Future cohorts Hodgy Beats and Tyler The Creator will also be featured on the track. The collaboration comes as only one of several. Not long after doing some studio time with Beyonce, Frank Ocean posted this tidbit on his Tumblr page where he talks about flying to NYC to work with Kanye and Jay-Z, though it’s still undetermined whether or not said track will end up on the duo’s, Watch The Throne (via HipHopDX.com). And now LA Weekly has report and photos from a video shoot for Pusha T’s new song, “Trouble On My Mind” which features Tyler the Creator and cameos by Odd Future members. The track is set to appear in Pusha’s forthcoming EP which will feature appearances by Kanye West and Young Jeezy as well as production duties from the Neptunes and Bangladesh.
