Sly Stone’s bad luck hasn’t ended yet. After a disastrous performance at Coachella last year, Sly Stone’s bad luck was just beginning. On April 1st, Sly Stone was arrested for possession of crack cocaine in Los Angeles, when a vehicle he was traveling in was pulled over. Cocaine rocks were allegedly found in Stone’s clothing as well as those of the driver.Stone has plead not guilty to the charge. Stone’s lawyer, Peter Knecht contends, “A lot of musicians hang out with people who have drugs…You can’t punish a guy for what he did 40 years ago, 30 years ago.”
