The summer is the time for free concerts, and anyone lucky enough to be in Brooklyn this summer is in for a couple of treats courtesy of Vans and FYF, including free performances from Cults, No Age, Superchunk and more.
Vans has announced the 2011 Vans House Parties, a free summer music series taking place in Brooklyn, NY, at the House of Vans at 25 Franklin Street. The six-night concert series, spread out over the summer, kicks off June 30 with performances from No Age, Cults, Health and Ceremony.
The best part: The shows are for free, though limited space is available, so the performances are first-come, first-serve.
The only other date scheduled with bands goes down July 14 with performances from Superchunk, Off! and Lemuria. Other show dates include July 29, August 4, August 18 and August 25. Acts will be announced in the near future.
