Kyuss Announces American Dates for Reunion Tour

Well on their way through the European leg of their reunion tour, Kyuss under the moniker Kyuss Lives! has announced two months of dates for the Fall.  Kicking off in Toronto mid-September, the American dates will take the band across North America before ending in South America.

Featuring original band members; John Garcia, Brant Bjork, and Nick Oliveri, Kyuss Lives! came to be after Oliveri and Bjork joined Garcia on stage at least year’s Hellfest France festival playing a couple songs together live for the first time in almost 20 years.

On tour at the time as Garcia Plays Kyuss, the surprising and spontaneous reunion of Garcia with Bjork and Oliveri eventually led back to their native Southern California desert town of Palm Desert where after a short while jamming the three former Kyuss members decided to bring about a reunion tour.

Although founding guitarist Josh Homme has not signed onto the reunion tour, Belgian guitarist Bruno Fevery has been brought into the band after touring with Garcia Plays Kyuss.  Kyuss Lives! will be supported by The Sword and Monstro during the Fall dates.
