Death metal legend Amon Amarth is set to bring the second leg of their “An Evening With Amon Amarth” tour to North America this summer. The 22-city tour will kick of in Vancouver,BC on August 4, hit cities such as Las Vegas, NV and Anaheim,CA and rap up in Boise, ID on September 3. The highly-anticipated tour is in support of their eighth release Surtur Rising via Metal Blade records.
Outburn magazine gave the album 9 out of 10 stars, stating it’s
“a collection that is brimming with beefy riffs, insidious melodies, and a truly epic sense of scale.”
The Swedish heavy metal band formed in 1992 with their debut release, Twilight of the Thunder God landing in the #7 position of Revolver Magazine’s Top 20 Albums that year. Tickets for Amon Amarth’s “An Evening With Amon Amarth” tour are currently on sale via Ticketmaster.
