Janelle Monae and Bruno Mars have teamed up for the co-headling tour, “Hooligans in Wondaland”. The summer tour is in support of their chart-topping LP’s, with British singer/rapper, Plan B dubbed as the opening act. The retro-pop singer and R&B songstress were recently seen together at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala Benefit in New York and did an exclusive interview with Vogue.com.
In the interview, Mars and Monae spoke of their first experience at the MET Gala, in addition to their highly-anticipated joint tour. Mars and Monae first hit the stage together earlier this year at the Grammy Awards. They performed their hit singles, “Grenade” and “Cold War” with Atlanta rapper B.o.B. receiving a standing-ovation.
