North By Northeast Adds New Bands to Lineup

North By Northeast has announced a new wave of bands for the 17th edition of the festival, engulfing Toronto June 13-19.

NXNE has just confirmed Fucked Up and Diamond Rings will join the Yonge-Dundas Square lineup which includes Devo, Stars, The Pharcyde, Land of Talk, Digable Planets, Descendents, OFF! and Men Without Hats.

Men Without Hats will also play an intimate club show on Thursday, June 16 at The Great Hall and Fucked Up will headline the NOW Magazine showcase on the same night, at Wrongbar.

Also newly announced are Handsome Furs, Grimes, The Postelles, Superhumanoids, Horse Feathers, Imaginary Cities, Peelanderz, Heavy Cream, and Guards.
