The organizers of the now 26-year-old Farm Aid benefit concert recently announced that Kansas City, KS will serve as the meeting point for this year’s festivities.
Kicking off August 13 at Kansas City’s newly constructed Livestrong Sporting Park, this year’s Farm Aid includes performances from board members Neil Young, Dave Matthews, Willie Nelson and John Mellencamp. Additions to that already confirmed lineup are expected to be announced throughout May and June.
A pre-sale for this year’s event began this past Friday via the Farm Aid site, but general ticket sales begin at 10:00 a.m. on May 20 via Ticketmaster.
