Atari Teenage Riot is set to release their fourth album, Is This Hyperreal? on June 7 via Dim Mak. The new release will be supported with a North American tour, set to begin this September in Seattle, Washington. The politically charged cyperpunks, are now a trio with new member, CX KiDTRONiK as MC. Is This Hyperreal? marks the group’s first release since 1999’s , 60 Second Wipeout.
Original group member, Alec Empire, spoke of the new release stating, “The new ATR album investigates hacker activism, governments and corporations trying to take over the Internet with regulations, thus destroying its freedom.” The group”s new single, “Blood In My Eyes” can be heard below, in addition to tour dates.
