After broadcasting a performance by Okkervil River of their upcoming album, I Am Very Far, National Public Radio Music has published the 11 track LP via First Listen.
Last Wednesday, NPR Music filmed the band performing the album live at The Cactus Cafe in Austin, TX. At 7 p.m. ET, the show streamed live via the web, with local Austin affiliate KUT-FM broadcasting and and uploading the show to NPR Music once it ended.
Now, less than a week after the show with over a week before the release of, I Am Very Far, NPR Music has streamed the album over the web through their album preview section, First Listen.
Okkervil River is taking May off the road for the release of, I Am Very Far, with their summer tour beginning at the end of the month. Tour dates for the summer tour are as follows:
