Elysian Fields to Release Last Night On Earth, First Stateside Full Length in 10 Years, on June 14

Brooklyn-based art rock duo Elysian Fields recently announced that they will release their seventh studio album and first stateside release in 10 years, Last Night On Earth, via Ojet Records on June 14.

Recorded in Crown Heights, Brooklyn by the band themselves in January of this year, Last Night On Earth features performances by Jeff Buckley collaborator Matt Johnson, The Antibalas horns, Doveman’s Thomas Bartlett and string players from Bon Iver.

The first single from the album, “Church of the Holy Family,” can be heard below:

In an interesting connection, vocalist Jennifer Charles worked with Mike Patton on Lovage’s Music to Make Love to Your Old Lady Byour very first review way back in 2002—which was recently reissued.
