8in8 Release Nighty Night

Rock band 8in8 has come together to finally release Nighty Night! Amanda Palmer, Neil Gaiman, Ben Folds and Damien Kulash managed to record 6 tracks in 12 hours with majority of the writing done by Gamans and their ‘twitter army’. All of the bandmates seem to be very active on the EP, with all of them taking part on the vocals, which is very unique for today’s quartets. Palmer called the recording experience a “miracle-making process”, which was accomplished with the help of “sushi with gin & tonics.”
The band hopes to one day release a 23 CD box set of extensive re-mastered tracks which will come encased in a plastic coffin which will weigh over 2 tons. 8in8 is asking for a minimum of a $1 donation in which all the proceeds will be donated to Berklee City Music Boston.
