“This year’s program contains experiences that you’ll only find at Roskilde Festival”, stated music director Rikke Oxner. Those who attend this year’s festival is definitely in for a treat and will get the opportunity to experience a wide range of different music. The Roskilde Festival is set to take place June 30- July 3 with expected appearances by Iron Maiden, M.I.A., Janelle Monae, Kings of Leon, Big Boi, and the newly added headliners The Stokes and Arctic Monkeys.
Tickets for the Scandianvian festival are currently on sale at billetlugen.dk and the audience will get to experience a new, but smaller and intimate stage named ‘Gloria’. “Gloria gives us the opportunity to present a series of acts whose delicate expression would easily have drowned on the other stages”, said Oxner. ‘Gloria’ is the smallest stage of Roskilde’s history, with room for only 1,000 people. The festivals band schedule with stage allocations is expected to be revealed in June.
