Prince announced last week that he’ll be playing 21 shows starting April 14th at the Forum in Los Angeles. The news stemmed from a call in to “Lopez Tonight,” on which the singer will perform the night prior to beginning his residency.
He declared:
“I will be starting a 21-night stand next Thursday, the 14th, at the L.A. Forum with the New Power Generation and a whole gang of special guests.”
Despite a lack of a hit record in the past decade, Prince has been up to his fair share of touring in recent years. Last year he embarked on a Welcome 2 America tour. The tour included four dates at Madison Square Garden.
