Bon Iver (Jagjaguwar Records) has been busy since the release of For Emma, Forever Ago in 2007, releasing an EP, guesting on Kanye West’s My Beautiful Dark Fantasy, and playing with Gayngs, Volcano Choir and Megafaun. Now he’s finally set to release his new LP this summer.
After a fit on writer’s block, Bon Iver – a.k.a. Justin Vernon – brought in studio musicians and guests including saxophonist Colin Stetson and pedal-steel guitarist Greg Leisz to help him flesh out the 10-track LP. The album, still untitled, comes out in June.
