Taking a chance to step through a few minutes of a bunch of shows, Cloudland Canyon was the first back at Emo’s. The trio plays only keyboards and develops a warm swirl of electronic noise. One member sings with heavily processed vocals while the others continue the sonic maelstrom. If you’re a fan of noise artists Fuck Buttons, Cloudland Canyon is most akin to them, only with actual singing too.
