80’s synth pop duo OMD (spelled fully Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark) played the SPIN party after the Vaccines. The group had major success in the 80’s, but as of late has been mostly quiet on US soil. This formulation of the band was just two members, vocalist/bassist Andy McClusky and vocalist/keyboardist Paul Humphreys. The majority of their music was triggered via keyboard. The duo did a decent job of urging the audience to dance. Most noteworthy was the appearance of Moby on the two final tracks of their set, stepping in on extra bass duties.
