Another candidate for the big breaking act of this year’s SXSW is dance pop band Friendly Fires. The band has slowly been accumulated a solid following, and with their new album are about primed to pop. They are an energetic mix of funky rhythms and pop confections. Most importantly, they know how to work a crowd. At this show the crowd was elated to dance along.
