Trent Reznor recently told Billboard in an interview that he has finished up recording the next How to Destroy Angels release and expects it to be released early this coming fall.
Reznor actually dropped that bit of news just a day before he and Atticus Ross took home an Oscar for their score for The Social Network.
“I just finished recording a How to Destroy Angels project with my wife. We have to mix it. [It will be out in the] early fall, most likely,” he said in an interview with Billboard.
The upcoming release will reportedly follow the same format as 2008’s Ghosts I-IV, which came in the form of free, lower bitrate downloads of the tracks and buyable physical copies and higher bitrate downloads.
Reznor’s next biggest piece of work after the upcoming How to Destroy Angels release is his score for The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, which hits theaters in December.
