Craig Wedren, visionary composer and musician, also former vocalist for the 80s indie group, Shudder to Think has taken the art of music videos to an entirely new level, allowing fans and viewers to actually interact with the video, manipulating what they see changing the angles using panoramic 360° technology.
The video is for the song “Are We”, Wedren’s first single off his new album, Wand. His upcoming album also doubles an interactive film, making “Are We” the first video-chapter of Wand.
This brilliantly refreshing music video was directed by OK GO video guru, Tim Nakashi, starring Wedren and David Wain, Thomas Lennon, Ken Marino and Joe Lo Truglio (from Role Models, The State, Stella, Reno 911, Wet Hot American Summer, Party Down and more)
In addition to Wedren in the song, back up vocals are by Bright Eyes’ Conor Oberst and Sleater Kinney’s Janet Weiss.
