Rap Rocks! SXSW Day Party to feature Das Racist, Shinobi Ninja, Click Clack Boom and more

If the mention of rap and rock in the same sentence brings to mind Kid Rock, then this SXSW showcase isn’t for you. For those who aren’t quite as close-minded, Rap Rocks! SXSW is the place to be, featuring the likes of Das Racist, The White House Band, Shinobi Ninja and more.

Rap Rocks! SXSW takes place on March 16 at The Speakeasy, which will host the following acts:

• Shinobi Ninja (NYC indie rock/rap group)
• Jared Evan (Singer/songwriter & rapper signed to Zone IV under Interscope Records)
• Bodega Girls (Boston electro/ rock party band)
• Ra The MC (District-based rapper signed to Studio 43)
• Rocky Business (Babygrande Records)
• The White House Band (Energetic Rock band with Rap and Blues influences)
• Das Racist (An internationally acclaimed Hip Hop group)
• Hollis Brown (A hook-soaked pop and blues-drenched rock and roll band)
• The Upperclassmen (A dynamic hip hop group), and
• Click Clack Boom (Post punk/ New wave/ indie band)
