John Darnielle of indie band The Mountain Goats released a free track via Twitter last night. The track, “Tyler Lambert’s Grave” was recorded with Darnielle on piano and vocals, and Leanne Zacharias on strings. Download the song after the jump.

Although collaborators abound on the upcoming Mountain Goats album, All Eternals Deck, “Tyler Lambert’s Grave” will not be included. Darnielle explains,
I am super fond of it but it does not really fit into the All Eternals Deck. Just a much different mood.
