This weekend, former Beatle Paul McCartney absolutely tore up Saturday Night Live, playing five songs – including “A Day In The Life” – and participating in two skits. Check out video of the not-to-be-missed tracks below the jump.
Macca first highlighted “Jet” and “Band on the Run” from the recently reissued Band on the Run, followed by a John Lennon tribute featuring “A Day In The Life” and “Give Peace A Chance.” He closed the show with Let It Be classic “Get Back.” In addition, he showed up in the weekly Digital Short and dropped by Weekend Update to impersonate Camilla Parker-Bowles (Prince Charles’ wife).
