FYF’s LA Scavenger Hunt TODAY! + FYF Christmas Party, December 11th

From the people who bring you FYF Fest bring you the third LA Scavenger Hunt today, Saturday, December 4th.  All the money will be donated to the Union Rescue Mission and LA Food Bank so it’s good fun for you and real help for people who really need it.  Also, FYF Christmas Party is Saturday, December 11th and features No Age, The Soft Pack and more.  Details about Scavenger Hunt and Christmas Party after the jump.

For the scavenger hunt, you can no longer pick up online tickets ($5), but if you go to Dodgers Stadium parking lot between noon and 2pm you can sign up for $10.  Half the items on the list are to be donated (canned food, water, socks, rice, etc.), the other half are a bit more wacky (and not to be donated!).  The grand prize winning team of 4 gets a 3-night trip to Barcelona to the Primavera Sound music festival on May 26th-28th, 2011.  Other prizes include tickets to see Weezer playing Pinkerton in its entirety (opened by Best Coast).  So get over there!

Nathaniel Ott Homer: I am a graduate of Vassar College ('10) with a degree in art history. I love making music even though I have no idea how to play an instrument. I like things big, bold, weird and drab. I like things psychotic and wacky, yet sweet and serene and subtle and sincere.
