Kyuss Reboots for Tour

Kyuss has regrouped under the name Kyuss Lives and will be embarking on a European tour. The news was leaked on the website of Amsterdam’s Paradiso club.

The Kyuss Lives band features original Kyuss members singer John Garcia, bassist Nick Oliveri and drummer Brant Bjork. Guitarist Bruno Fevery will be coming on board with the other members.

Reeder explained in 2008 that Josh Homme of the original Kyuss would not be joining the tour, stating, “I think everyone but Josh would do it in a heartbeat. Back in the day we were always told, ‘You gotta strike while the iron’s hot,’ and Josh’s is still red hot.”

Since their breakup in 1995, Kyuss has continued to grow in popularity. Their best of compilation, Muchas Gracias, was released in 200. The reunion trails Garcia’s “Garcia Plays Kyuss” tour, during which Oliveri and Bjork joined Garcia onstage to perform Green Machine and Gardenia at France’s Hellfest in June.

Michelle Rick: I like Pop Rocks, and believe your life is incomplete if you've never seen Forrest Gump. I recently saw the Counting Crows live, for free, and it was not good. I was supposed to interview David Hasselhoff once but he never showed. And I love the band that was once Oasis.
