Live Album, Tour Dates for Hopewell

For over a decade, Hopewell has been infusing vintage fuzz pedal jams with space rock and shoegaze roots. The band is set to release their first live album and embark on a North American tour with the Dandy Warhols this year.

The album will take recordings from their three-night engagement at Truck Festival America in May 2010, as well as their 2009 performance at All Tomorrow’s Parties NY. Hopewell Live Volume 1 seeks to capture the band at their present-day state. Volume 2, slated for an early 2011 release, takes a retrospective look back at the journey the band has taken since their early days.

Michelle Rick: I like Pop Rocks, and believe your life is incomplete if you've never seen Forrest Gump. I recently saw the Counting Crows live, for free, and it was not good. I was supposed to interview David Hasselhoff once but he never showed. And I love the band that was once Oasis.
