A piece of business news. Facebook partner, Napster founder, and Spotify investor Sean Parker spoke out yesterday about the future of music distribution. As part of a panel at the Daily Beast’s Innovator’s Conference on Oct. 25, Parker claimed the music industry must finally acknowledge the war on piracy a failure and take steps in new directions to regain control of the business.
