The forthcoming EP, Listening to the Noise Some People Make, is the first in a multi-part pop and art project. It will be released on January 11, 2011. The collection will be released on her new label, G Records, where Madison calls the shots on the entire production of the albums.

Madison is renowned for her impromptu 3 AM sets at downtown clubs in her New York City niche, where she has received play from top DJs. Her songs have recently made their way onto primetime television shows such as Ugly Betty, Melrose Place, Samantha Who, Parking Wars, and a national Subaru commercial.

Her signature sound, postmodern-pop-meets-street-smart-style, stands out even in today’s world of pervasive indie. She left her life as a medical school student and published neuroscientist for the New York art and music scene. Madison seeks to push her music past the known limits of modern pop and seek an artistic stratosphere in which she can make her own rules.

Michelle Rick: I like Pop Rocks, and believe your life is incomplete if you've never seen Forrest Gump. I recently saw the Counting Crows live, for free, and it was not good. I was supposed to interview David Hasselhoff once but he never showed. And I love the band that was once Oasis.
