A Perfect Circle Return from Hiatus with Tour Dates, Jimmy Kimmel Appearance

Rock supergroup A Perfect Circle have returned from their self-imposed hiatus, announcing a five-city west coast reunion tour for the fall that will see the band’s first activity since 2004.

Though no specific dates have been announced, the band will play at the Marquee Theatre in Phoenix, AZ, the Avalon in Los Angeles, CA, Showbox at The Market in Seattle, WA, and The Fillmore in San Francisco, CA.

The group will play three shows in each city, playing one of their albums – Mer do Noms (2000), Thirteenth Step (2003) and eMOTIVe (2004) – in its entirety each night.

The band will also play two nights at The Pearl in Las Vegas, highlighting Mar de Noms and Thirteenth Step.

In addition, the band will play on Jimmy Kimmel Live on October 27th.

Dates and ticket information will be announced shortly.

UPDATE #1: A publicist for the band has confirmed who the touring lineup of A Perfect Circle will include for this tour. In addition to Maynard James Keenan and Billy Howerdel, the band will include Josh Freese (currently Devo’s drummer and former drummer for Nine Inch Nails), James Iha (former guitarist for The Smashing Pumpkins) and Matt McJunkins (collaborator on Keenan’s Puscifer and Howerdel’s Ashes Divide).

UPDATE #2: A new Twitter post from the band says the following:

Jeordie, Paz, and Troy all have awesome stuff going on that they couldn’t step away from. But all is well with them.

This is in reference to Paz Lenchantin, Jeordie White and Troy Van Leeuwen, all former members of the band.
