Now that she’s successfully turned 21 (and graduated from college with a double major), Zola Jesus is set to celebrate in a big way with the release of Valusia, her new EP out October 12th.
Valusia, which will be released on Sacred Bones Records, features four tracks, including “Poor Animal” with Cult of Youth member Christiana Key. The CD will also include bonus videos for “Night” off the previously released Stridulum and “Clay Bodies” from The Spoils, both directed by Jacqueline Castel.

Zola Jesus is also on tour this fall, including three weeks supporting British minimalist rock group The xx. The tour will also feature some headlining gigs and will include her full band.
