FYF Fest 2010 Wrap-Up: Attendance and More

So with that, FYF Fest 2010 is complete. We just received confirmation from a representative from the festival, 20,000 people attended this year’s event. That’s no small feat for an independent promoter without major backing. Still, as we detailed over the course of the day, the number of people seemed an order of magnitude beyond what the grounds and facilities were capable of comfortably holding. The number hurt the experience, and so, many attendees left prematurely to escape the conditions. Nevertheless, the great acts from the bill did their part to prove why their inclusion made this year’s event such a talked-about event in the Los Angeles scene.
