No one likes service charges when they buy tickets online. So Ticketmaster has started a blog, titled Ticketology, to lay out exactly why they have them and what advantages that service fee has over their competitors. No comments are allowed (as of yet) on the blog, but they do make it clear that they will be doing their best to make any service charges clear at the beginning of the purchasing process, not at the very end, a factor that often deters many of their potential customers.
