Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo recently told MTV News that the titular alternative rock group will be playing two of their biggest past albums, the Blue Album and Pinkerton, in their entireties. More after the jump.
Cuomo summed up the plan for the upcoming tour in a recent interview with MTV News:
“We have this really exciting idea to do a tour where we spend two nights in each city, and the first night, we play the entire Blue album, and the second night, we play the entirety of Pinkerton. We’re just running it by promoters right now to see if there’s sufficient interest in the markets to do something like that, and if they’re on board, it’s gonna happen.”
The upcoming tour was first discussed by Weezer Guitarist Brian Bell in an interview from the Mile High Festival earlier this week. Check out the interview below:
Pinkerton will be re-released on October 5.
