Earlier this year, Brooklyn hip-hop duo Metermaids released Nightlife in Illinoise, mash-up album featuring Sufjan Stevens‘ Illinoise. Now the duo’s taken to remixing one of 2010’s hottest bands: Brooklyn’s Sleigh Bells.
Metermaids will be releasing a free five-song EP of Sleigh Bells remixes in the coming weeks. As a preview, the band has released “The Bedford Kings,” a remix of Sleigh Bells’ song “Riot Rhythm,” for free download, which you can check out below, in addition to the cover art for the EP.
