Weezer has signed with Epitaph Records, a bit of news that was confirmed Wednesday via label head Brett Gurewitz’s Twitter page. Check out the full message after the jump.

The band is reportedly scheduled to release a new album via Epitaph entitled Hurley on September 14. Hurley will be the band’s first release with an independent label.
