Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, guitarist and composer of The Mars Volta, will be bringing his brand of psychedelic rock to the US in the early Fall. More after the jump.
The Omar Rodriguez-Lopez Group, which features Mars Volta members Juan Alderete de la Peña and Marcel Rodriguez-Lopez along with drummer Deantoni Parks of Kudu and vocalist Ximena Sariñana Rivera, will make their live US debut in September. Supporting the band will be garage punks Le Butcherettes.
The dates for the shows are as follows:
09/13 – San Francisco, CA – Great American Music Hall
09/14 – Los Angeles, CA – Troubadour
09/17 – New York, NY – Highline Ballroom (SOLD OUT)
09/18 – Chicago, IL – Congress Theater
