Battles Take A Break From The Studio For Two Live Shows

Instrumental rockers Battles have been hard at work in the studio recording their second album, but they’ll take break this October to play two special shows – one in New York and one in London.First the band will play an intimate show October 26 at Le Poisson Rouge in New York. Several days later they’ll fly to London to headline All Tomorrow’s Parties’ Halloween Extravaganza at The Forum. The dates are the band’s first since going into the studio.

Even better news for anyone lucky enough to be hitting up the shows – the band will be debuting new material, which the group’s official press release describe as “magnanimous.” Sounds lovely.
