Def Leppard Planning First Ever Live Album, Hints At New Material

80’s legends Def Leppard are still going strong, announcing recently that they’re putting together an album of live material from their 2009 tour. They’ve also insinuated that this may come with an EP full of new songs. More after the jump.

As they take 2010 off from touring, Def Leppard is preparing a slew of new material. Along with the live album, they’re preparing new material for a potential full-length album, a box set and a coffee table book.

Said singer Joe Elliot of the band’s recent activity: “I don’t want my past to be my future as well.  I’d like to think we can still keep putting new music out.”

No specifics or dates have been announced yet.
