It’s only been 9 months since Weezer‘s latest album release, yet the guys are at it again – Weezer has announced a heavier album to be released in September. Frontman Rivers Cuomo says this album will be released on an independent label that will be announced in the near future. What can we expect from Weezer this time?

“I’ve spent the entire morning trying to come up with a name for the record,” Cuomo said. “How does Heavy Mental sound? There’s definitely going to be more raw rock energy on this one.”
