Pearl Jam has always been a big supporter of clean oceans, and nothing has changed. Directed by Ryan Thomas and Brendan Canty, the band has released a video for the track “Amongst the Waves” which will benefit Conservation International‘s Marine Programs. The video features recent concert footage of Pearl Jam alongside scenes of waves and surfers – then closing with the current oil crisis in the Gulf Coast. The band has also set up a page on their website describing their efforts with ocean preservation and recovery of the BP oil spill.
