It’s somewhat old news, but definitely worth mentioning: Metal legends Slayer have released a game, “Slayer: Pinball Rocks,” on the iTunes store. Click “read more” for more info. The game, which promises hours of wholesome fun–as well as unspeakable, if somewhat cheesy, brutality–is actually a somewhat straightforward pinball game. What sets it apart is the bloodthirsty cackle of bassist Tom Araya, who offers such encouragement as “multi-ball” and “I want blood”, as well as the playing surface, which is of course inscribed with a satanic pentagram. The action is accompanied by tunes from their 2009 album, World Painted Blood.
Those of you who are sick of modern games with “realistic graphics” and “storylines” can head over to the iTunes app store and do your part for Ed Gein and the armies of Satan by downloading the game, for the reasonable price of $2.99.
