Here at MXDWN, we are a supportive, close-knit gang, constantly communicating with each other. By joining our team, you will be welcomed into a hard-working, talented group of writers that will push you to improve your writing.
We’re looking for writers to cover 1-2 days a week, writing at least five stories a day for their day. The position is unpaid, but it is a good opportunity to build your resumé and gain experience in the music news industry.
What we need most right now is someone who is willing to cover days at the end of the week, either Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or any combination thereof. If you can’t work these days, but would still like to be included, send us an email!
Now, for the qualifications.
We’re looking for college students or recent college graduates in any discipline with a good understanding of news writing style and mechanics. No experience writing for a website is necessary, but any prior knowledge of the field is welcomed.
