San Diego lo-fi punks Wavves will be releasing their next single, “Post Acid,” on Mountain Dew-owned Green Label Sound on June 9. “Post Acid” is the first single off of the group’s upcoming album King of the Beach, which is set for an August 3 release from Fat Possum Records. In a recent interview with Pitchfork, Wavves frontman Nathan Williams addressed the sound of the new album:
“It’s the same style of writing that I did before, but it comes through a lot different when you can actually hear everything,” he told the site.
